Starting the New Year

As we near the end of 2019, I know that many of you may be finding yourself stressed and not as balanced and healthy as you would like to be. I have found that making time to recenter, reflect, and establish healthy habits and routines is critical for me to maintain my inner and outer health and wellbeing.  So I would like to invite you to join me in starting 2020 with intention, making time to identify what is a meaningful life to you and committing to developing the skills and lifestyle that support your life. Come join me in living a more mindful and meaningful life!

Start your year off with a 3-day meditation retreat in Auburn, California

My wife, Laura Bartels, and I will return to the wonderful Mercy Retreat Center to guide a three-day meditation retreat. This retreat is dedicated to establishing and cultivating the foundational meditation practice of shamatha (calm abiding) meditation and taking time to reflect, and clarify intentions for the new year.
