Join us for this online special event benefiting the new Way of Compassion Foundation Recovery Services Program. John Bruna is offering this retreat, focusing on the 11th step on a free-will donation basis with all of the proceeds going to help fund the new program. The retreat is open to everyone, whether you are in a 12 step program or not. John feels strongly that everyone can benefit immensely by integrating the tools of prayer and meditation into their daily life. The retreat will focus on universal practices that support all faiths, spiritual traditions, including simply being human.

“There is a direct linkage among self-examination, meditation and prayer. Taken separately these practices can bring much relief and benefit. But when they are logically related and interwoven, the result is an unshakable foundation for life.”  (Pg 98, 12 &12)

“Emotional balance is one of the first results of meditation, and our experience bears this out.” (Pg 47, NA Basic Text)

“Loving-kindness does not mean making sure you’re feeling good all the time – trying to set up your life so that you’re comfortable every moment. Rather, it means setting up your life so that you have time for meditation and self-reflection, for kindhearted, compassionate self-honesty.” Pema Chödrön

To register make a secure donation of any amount below using the donation button. The retreat will use the Zoom online webinar platform. There will be breaks and time for reflection, and questions and answers.
